Bounce Back (Physique)
Description: The character heals faster than usual, reducing the severity of consequences resulting from physical injury. Reduce the amount of time to recover from a given consequence by two steps on the Time Increments Table: Mild Health consequences are removed between scenes even if there’s no “break” between them; Moderate consequences take about a day of rest instead of a week; Severe consequences reduce from a month to a week; and Extreme consequences are removed after a month, although the permanent aspect gained from an Extreme consequence will linger, likely for the rest of the character’s life.
Master of the Fist (Brawling)
Description: Your intensive training in back-rooms and brawling pits allows you to add +2 to all Brawling rolls when using your bare fists.
Description: You have come in contact with some unusual form of otherworldly magic. You can harness the wild magical energy that leaks through from the planes beyond (perhaps even piercing the barriers in order to gain access). You gain access to the “evocation” school, and may select three spells with that keyword, or the keyword “wild”. Your spells tend to have less than expected results and your power use has unpredictable side effects. Any magic skill check which succeeds with a cost, or succeeds with style creates a random and often detrimental aspect on the scene or caster.

Magic Missile (Evocation): Launch a bolt of pure arcane energy at a single target in your current or an adjacent zone. You must be able to see the target. Attack action, caster’s Magic Skill vs. target’s Athletics, attack does physical stress.
Lightning Bolt (Evocation, Cost, Requires Magic Missile ): Cast a crackling lightning bolt at a target you can see in your zone or an adjacent zone. Attack action, caster’s Magic Skill +2 vs.target’s Athletics, attack does physical stress.
Lightning Shield (Evocation, Cost, Abjuration, Persistent, Per Scene): Spend an action to activate this spell. A visible shield of lightning forms around your arm, granting you the defense bonus of a shield (+1) which has the aspect Crackling Disk of Lightning. Additionally once per scene, if you defend against a melee attack and you succeed with style, you may forgo your boost and instead cause 2 shifts of physical stress against your attacker. This ability drains the energy from the shield, terminating the spell. The caster may re-cast Lightning Shield as many times as necessary during any given scene.
