15 Religion Noblesse invader King Harleman converts to the pantheon.
49 Religion Founding of the Pantheist League of Churches as the universal religion.
121 Religion, cults Non Pantheist Cults deemed heretical.
125 Political Fifth Grand Council – Response to Pantheist Church Dictates.
189 Disaster, Natural The Great Firestorm. Fantastic storm causes severe fires throughout the Isle. Deaths beyond reckoning.
366 Rebellion The Great Purge – Active obliteration of all non-pantheist Cults in Harland (Lakeland), Le Fleur, and Rotbaum.
487 Political Sixth Grand Council – Agreement to strike on vulnerable region of Harland.
488 War, Foregn Drakus invades Harland over/through disputed lands. Principality of the Golden Plains severely crippled. Drakus human forces annihilated as brute hoards team with barbarians to cut off retreat. Surviving dragons retreat in defeat.
578 Kingdom growth Kingdom of Harland formally founded.
733 Treatise Pact of Derrinduir founded.
750 Treatise Glimmer Dam project begun.
988 Kingdom growth Kingdom of Harland renamed Kingdom of the Lake and rededicated with the completion of Glimmer Dam.
Political Seventh Grand Council – Loss of seven Wyrms to old age; Council copes with adjustments.
1977 Political Eight Grand Council – Reorganization of Drakus political structure. Dragon City on Drakus Isle adopted as formal Council site.
2313 Treatise Elven art agreement accepted.
2444 Political Ninth Grand Council (Last Grand Council) – Council agrees to form an ongoing political body residing in Dragon City. Adoption of body of humanoid representatives to delegate authority. Political structure solidified.
2493 Treatise Treatise with Kingdom of Le Fleur set in stone at Landis Regulus.
2499 Intrigue/Scandal City of Lakehold rocked when the Royal Wizards Guild disbanded after discovery of treason with Kingdom of Drakus and Kingdom of Walelund.
2501 Succession Beneficent Good King Mark, Regent of Lakehold is crowned by Grand Primus of the Pantheist League of Churches after Worthy Strong King Donal, his father dies in his sleep.
2503 War, Foreign Drakus Invasion – Drakus invades Principality of the Tides but were driven back as barbarians aided by Sturg, Ogre King and his tribe, attack and take Lighthouse City and threaten Draken Isle.
2505 War, religious Kingdom of Cael wages war on Sect of the Earth.
2506 Treatise Bond of non-aggression is formed with Walelund.
2509 War, Internal Brute Wars – Brutes allied by barbarian tribes overrun Golden Plains
2510 Treatise Beneficent Good King Mark attends the Caernaithe Accords in Cael
2512 Political Upon his return, BG King Mark adopts and puts into law the Accords of Caernaithe
2514 Heroes of Note Trelkin’s Folley, an adventuring band, pushes back the brutes occupying the Golden Plains. Resettling begins slowly.
2516 Feud/Rivalry Prince Godfrey nearly slain by assassin’s blade. Prince Colward, King Mark’s firstborn son (known henceforth as Colward the Black) is banished after being tried and found in blame of hiring the assassin.
2517 Natural Disaster Flooding – High rains cause severe flooding throughout the Kingdoms of the Shimmering Isle. Loss of life in the tens of thousands.
2519 Treatise Buckhorn Alliance – Baron Pelham of the Province of the Southern Plains, Lakeland, makes a pact with the Crescent Moon Barbarians of non-aggression and alliance against the Brute Tribes of the Golden Plains.
2520 Political Event Baron Pelham raised to Prince as the Province of the Southern Plains becomes a Principality.
2521 Raid The Mayor of the town of Wheatly’s Rest murdered and impersonated by an Illithid sorcerer and a host of Brutes and evil cultists. The intruders were destroyed by the Blades of Winterfell, a band of heroes.
2522 War, Internal The Devastation of the Horned Lord – The Demonic Horned Lord leads a host of Brutes, Humans and creatures of the Ungaard against the Principality of the Southern Plains and devastates the region before being destroyed by the Blades of Winterfell.
2523 Intrigue Baron Pelham, Prince of the Southern Plains dies from wounds received by the Horned Lord. Sir George Grant raised to Baron and given command of the Principality.
2525 Intrigue Prince Godfrey Finsdale, aged 68, dies of natural causes. Lord Nathan Pertwee, known as The Mad Lord, Prince Godfrey’s brother-in-law, commander of the Sable Ravens (the Finsdale City Guard) assumes control of the city and is crowned Prince by Grand Primus Hextor Snowmantle of the Pantheist Church.
2526 Political Intrigue Beneficent Good King Mark murdered. Sir Hugo Finsdale, former squire to the King, usurps throne and declares himself King with the blessing of the Pantheist League of Churches. Prince Regent Mark, the third of his name and King Mark’s son and rightful heir missing and presumed dead.
War, Internal Count Elian Barnice declares the Principality of the East as sovereign and closes its borders to all traffic.
Intrigue, Foreign Legion of Dwarves from Tulmadin march from their mountain kingdom and besieges Dam City’s western facing, with the forces of Brockhurst and Pertwee in alliance.
2527 War, Internal Pretender King of the East, Count Elian Barnice besieges the eastern facing of Dam City. Principalities of the South and High Reaches join naval forces with Brockhurst and Pertwee, forming an armada to blockade all supply vessels.
2528 Intrigue In desperation, the Usurper Hugo Finsdale slain in battle in an attempt to break the Dwarven siege. The Pantheist League takes charge of the Kingdom of the Lake. Tension grows between the principalities. The Dwarves of Tulmadin move into Glimmerdam as protectors and enforcers.
War, Internal The Pretender Horned Lord Returned recruits a host of brutes, pummeling the Golden Reaches, but is defeated, by an alliance between the lords of the principality and both barbarian and amazonian tribes. The brutes scatter once more into the wild lands of the Golden Reaches.
War, Foreign An unsanctioned army of Caelic warriors traverse the wild lands of Waelund and invade the Barony of Fallowdown. Baron Sir Fabian falsely reported slain, but instead pushes the invasion force back across the Ash Flow, sandwiching the enemy against the forces of Waelund.
Religion The souls of the dead cease to move on into afterlife. A quest to recover the Heart of Kwyrth is undertaken by the Blades of Winterfell.
Unrest, Religious Pockets of the populace, shaken by dead not passing over, rebel against the Great Church of the Pantheist League. The Church organizes a new branch of the Inquisition to quell the rebellion.
2529 Heroes of Note The Blades of Winterfell restore Kwyrth’s Heart. The dead no longer freely roam the land. The heroes, however, do not return from the Ungaard.
2530 Intrigue Count Elian Barnice of the Principality of the East appointed Regent of the Kingdom of the Lake.
An accounting of King Mark’s legitimate heirs begins.
Messengers dispatched to assemble the Lakeland Succession Council. Rumors of Prince Regent Mark’s survival reach the Royal Seat.
The Dwarves refuse to vacate Dam City, and none attempt to force them out.
Former Prince, Colward “the Black” presents his bid for the throne, claiming his birthright.
The late King Mark’s grandsons, Brandon Redraven and John Primrose also lay claims to the throne.
The populace fears another civil war.
2531 War, Internal Brutes from the disputed lands, under the banner of a human spellcaster named Grakhirt, cross the Tamarind Flow, harassing many Barbarian villages as well as the town of Darkhold.
Grikhirt, in his underground lair, defeats a small band of men sent by Baron Fallowdown. His forces defeat the defenders at Darkhold and he takes the town.
The prisoners from Darkhold, as well as those survivors captured during the raid, are ransomed to Fallowdown in exchange for the land rights of Darkhold and Ironhold Mine, as well as a hefty largess in coin and supplies.
Political The Grand Succession Council officially convenes in Spring Court. Summer Court arrives and a successor is not yet chosen. Unrest grows in the Kingdom of the Lake.
Intrigue Rumors abound that Nörlunders prepare for invasion during the Lakeland crisis.
